I've been getting together with the inimitable Dorian Vallejo for figure painting over the past few Saturdays. Also in attendance were the highly-skilled Jacques Bredy (also a fantastic vegan cook!), Richard Scarpa, and several other NJ & NY-based artists.
Here are the results of a couple of my efforts. Each was a 5-6 hour pose, oils on gessoed/acrylic-toned illustration board, ~10"x16". I felt rusty, but it was great fun; I hope to keep it up.

these are fantastic, and in a good way the crazy colors next to their more natural tones makes these more illustration-esque :-)
